Total Accumulated Loss of Private Life Insurance Companies as at 31.3.2010 is Rs.17,817.50 Cr.

15 out of the total 22 Pvt. Life Ins. Cos. made loss in 2009-10. 19 (out of the total 22) Pvt. Life Ins. Cos. still have accumulated losses,even though 7 Cos. managed to ‘SHOW’ profit for 2009-10.
